Why we love it

This game is so simple but so fun! You can print one copy to share, a separate copy for everyone, or just display it on your laptop. I promise you have all the items around your house already, so there are no other materials needed!

Some reasons we love it:

  • Your kids of all ages can play- even mom and dad can join in.
  • You can adjust it for your family’s interest and ages.
  • It gets your kids moving on a cold day.
  • Supports communication skills – I like to have everyone share where they found their items, or why they picked something. Basically, make every item has a story!

How to play the Valentine Scavenger Hunt

There’s a variety of ways you can play our Valentine Scavenger Hunt game:

  • Print one copy to do together as a family, or make a copy for each person.
  • Read one box out loud and it’s a race to see who can return with the correct item first, item by item.
  • Everyone has their own sheet and it’s a race to see who can find all the items first.
  • Complete as a family and find items together.
  • Snap a picture of each item as you find it to share together.

How would you play? Let me know below!

I’d love to hear what you think about our Valentine Scavenger Hunt for kids!
