Happy Friday! There’s just something about waking up on a Friday morning and knowing it’s the weekend! Today I’m sharing some sweater dresses but first, a few life updates:
Though I’m not officially back at work yet, I have been working on this semester’s syllabi and some other work things when I can. But working around the baby isn’t super efficient, so I’m actually excited to have Joe deal with the kids a few hours this weekend so I can knock some work out! I don’t want to be overwhelmed when I go back to work so I’m trying to get a head start!
I’m not really looking forward to next week, because Joe goes back to work in person on Tuesday. He’s been working from home for so long now that I’m really used to him being here. Even though he’s busy working, he does have short breaks, doesn’t have the commute, and I just like hearing his voice in the office (really a corner in our bedroom). But I’m just thankful for all the time we had with him working from home!
For the kids, we are already looking at where Fitzgerald will go to Kindergarten in the fall (WHAT?!) and if I think too much about that I cry. Coco is being her little baby self and just turned two months old. We love her more every single day. Sharing a longer update on her soon!
How cute is this sweater dress I snagged from Forever XXII for only $15? I love the deep red color for Valentine’s so I told Joe it’s up to him to plan someplace to go for a date worthy of this look. 🙂 And of course, since it’s a mini it looks so cute with my OTK boots. These chunky heart earrings are Madewell and less than $15 right now at Nordstrom! An easy, pretty, and affordable Valentine look. And as a bonus, the wrap front is totally breastfeeding or pumping friendly! Otherwise I don’t think I could get away with a dress right now!
