Recipe for a Fall Transition Outfit

September 3, 2020 By Emily 4 Comments

Well, it’s September now and even though the temps are still pretty hot here, fall is on my mind! Also, here in Kansas City, you never know when some cooler weather will creep in, so being ready with a fallish outfit is a must. Today I’m sharing my recipe for a fall transition outfit that is SO easy. Plus, it works whether you are sporting a baby bump like me or not :).

Here’s my recipe for a fall transition outfit:

  • Start with a dress: Any cute dress you already have, and you may have been wearing it all spring and summer!
  • Throw on a layer: A cardigan, a flannel, or a denim jacket are my fave choices.
  • Add some booties and you’re good to go!

I love this pink dress paired with the light gray and black- it’s a nice way to ease into fall colors. And can you believe the dress is only $12? I sized up one size for the bump, but otherwise my regular size would have worked. You can’t go wrong with a great Target find! My BP cardigan and black booties are sold out, but I linked some similar ones below.
