Halloween Boo Basket Ideas

My number one tip is keep it super simple. It doesn’t have to cost a lot to make a great Boo Basket! I took the kids and hit up the local dollar store. We found all that we needed for Boo Baskets of all sizes and it was super inexpensive.

For a small Boo Basket, grab simple baggies (I found these candy corn baggies in a pack of 8). For a larger Boo Basket, you can use any of the fun plastic tubs or baskets in a Halloween theme – we found several to choose from!

Then, we grab all sorts of candy from the Halloween section to make it extra fun. The kids’ favorites are the eyeball gumballs and the monster Sugar Patch Kids. 🙂

You can also grab small toys (we grabbed some spooky bouncy balls and silly straws) and small Halloween trinkets, so be sure to look in the decor section too. We found witch hats and other Halloween themed sticks that add a cute finishing touch to our bags!

Are you going to try any of our Halloween Boo Basket Ideas this year? It could be a fun new tradition for your friends and neighbors if you haven’t done them already!
