Father’s Day Gift: Best Pop in the World Basket

June 10, 2023 By Emily No Comments

Just POPPING in (sorry, I just haaad to) to share another Father’s Day Gift idea: Best Pop in the World Basket. This is another one that works for Father’s Day or a Birthday, and can work for Dad or a Grandpa. We call my dad “Papa” or “Pop” over here!

Best Pop in the World Basket

Why we love it

We got everything but ONE item (the Jelly Bellies Soda Pop Shoppe) at the dollar store! Which you could just as easily do without. We spent under $15 on this gift in total!

Plus, it was fun to go on a little scavenger hunt at the dollar store and grab any snack or treat that had “pop” in it…including a can of pop!

We also love having a stash of treats in the basement for movie nights and we are hoping that Dad will share these gift with us for some fun family time. 🙂

How to make it

These are the POP items we found:

  • Pop Rocks
  • Blow Pops
  • Tootsie Roll Pops
  • Popcorn
  • Can of pop
  • Jelly Belly Soda Pop Shoppe
  • Ring Pops
  • Pop Tarts

You can use any kind of jar or basket and doll it up any way you want. We just grabbed this simple white plastic tote, knowing it would be great to reuse as well.

We printed this simple sign in black and white (I also have a color version) and attached it to a silly straw, which will be perfect for Dad to enjoy his soda pop with, of course!

You can grab the printable sign in color and black and white as a freebie, along with the signs for our other DIY Father’s Gifts signs! The best thing is they double as a sweet card, and you can just have your kids sign the back.
