Fall Bucket List for Families + Freebie

October 10, 2022 By Emily No Comments

Looking for a fun way to experience all the fall activities this year? I’ve got a fall bucket list for families that you can print and hang on the fridge today! These are classic fall activities that I want to be sure we don’t forget to do together each year!

  • Fall Family Bucket List

There’s so many fun things to do in the fall, and I made a list of some of our favorites. We love to hang this list on our fridge and check them off as we go.

You can click on the image below, sign up to my email list, and get this freebie sent right to your inbox!

Fall Bucket List

Fall Bucket for Families

Okay, here’s our family bucket list of things we like to do every fall. We love to hang the checklist on the fridge so we can track what we’ve done and what we need to do. Otherwise, the season will be over before we know it, and we will be onto Christmas season.

Pumpkin Patch

This is a must! Everyone gets to pick out one special pumpkin to take home. Just be sure to grab cute family photos for the memories!

DIY Caramel Apples

This is my favorite fall treat and it’s so fun to make them yourself! You can drizzle, dip or coat your apples in caramel, and don’t forget other fun toppings like chocolate drizzle, nuts, and small candies.

Flashlight Reading Party

Since it gets darker a bit earlier now, it’s so fun to turn off all the lights, make a blanket fort and have a flashlight reading party with the whole family. Be sure to light a pumpkin or fall scented candle!

Decorate Pumpkins

Save carving pumpkins for when the kids are a bit older. They can still have fun decorating pumpkins with stickers, paint, markers, glitter, and any other craft supplies you have laying around! Have a contest and see who can make the spookiest pumpkin face.

Apple Picking

This is one we added about a year ago and it’s so much fun to get out in the fall weather and collect your own apples. Then, we like to make an easy apple treat, like this apple crisp recipe.

Fire Pit

Nothing says autumn like a night around a bonfire or fire pit. We love to roast marshmallows and hotdogs.

Leaf Jumping

Head outside and find or rake piles of leaves. Make the biggest pile you can and jump in them! We like to make leaf angels. This is a fun one to invite the neighbors over for, too!

Pinecone Bird Feeders

A classic one that I’m about to do with my kids soon. Go outside for a pinecone hunt, cover in peanut butter and bird seeds, then just hang outside with twine. It’s so fun to watch the birds come before long!

Halloween Movie Night

We always schedule at least one night of Halloween movie watching. Our favorites are Casper, Hocus Pocus, and The Legend of Sleepy Hallow (cartoon).

I hope you like our fall bucket list for families!

Does your family already do some of these family fall activities? Planning ahead and using a checklist will help you to be sure you don’t forget to make any of these classic and sweet family memories this year!
