DIY Father’s Day Golf Gift Idea

June 9, 2023 By Emily No Comments

We’re busy over here prepping for Father’s Day! Since we will be out of town for the week before, we’re getting some our gift ideas pulled together. We love how fun this DIY Father’s Day golf gift was!

You’re A Tee-Rific Dad Golf Gift

When I saw this golf gift idea from My Frugal Adventures, we thought it was perfect for our golf loving dad! We made our own changes to it, including this FREE sign. You can instantly print by signing up to our email list HERE!

Materials:

  • Golf Balls
  • Permanent Markers
  • Basket or Jar
  • Sign
  • Father's Day Golf Theme
  • Father's Day Golf Themed

First, the I gave the kids the markers and the golf balls and had them decorate them any way they wanted. We got some scribbles, cute designs, and “I love Dad” on them to make Dad some extra special golf balls.

Don’t panic with the permanent markers! We did it cleanly and safely OUTSIDE and in old clothes so it wasn’t a big deal if marker got on them. As always, we took our splat mat outside, which is our favorite messy work surface.

As you can see, since it was harder for Coco to grasp the ball while drawing, keeping the ball inside the small box it came in was really helpful too!

We filled a jar with the golf balls, but you can also use a small basket. I put some Easter grass on the bottom for a green touch. The finishing touch was the “You are a Tee-Rific Dad” Sign which you can grab here for free as an instant download. You can also have your kids sign on the back of the sign so it’s a Father’s Day card also!

I hope you love this easy and fun yet thoughtful DIY Father’s Day golf gift idea!
