We had the BEST Easter this year! After last year’s, it was just so nice to have a “normal” Easter. Last year, it was right after the Covid shut down and we stayed home alone, not allowed to go out anywhere. I was pregnant and sick and it was a grey, rainy day. Joe brought home barbecue carry out and I tried to make it nice and laid out a tablecloth and made everyone dress up, which was hard to do as sick as I was! Easter 2021 was a more typical Easter, and it was so nice to celebrate with our church and our family again.
This year, we got to do our tradition: Wake up and Fitz sees his Easter basket, then hunts for eggs. Then we go to church, followed by a delicious Easter linner with my family, another egg hunt, and just a great day relaxing and celebrating all day long!
It was so fun too because it was Cosette’s first Easter. So having TWO Easter baskets to fill and dressing her up for Easter to match Fitz was just too much fun!
My favorite part of the day was sitting around with my family and sharing different stories of how God has healed, blessed, and shown His love to our family through the years. So many stories that just reminded me of all of the good things He has done. I pray you had a blessed Easter as well!
