Easter Basket Ideas for Kids

March 22, 2021 By Emily 2 Comments

The Easter bunny has been hard at work over here lately! Today I’m sharing my Easter basket ideas for kids. These are things that Fitz and Coco are getting in their baskets this year and I can’t wait to see them with their Easter basket goodies!

Easter Basket Tip

Here’s my number one Easter basket tip: Select items for spring/summer that you would be getting your kids anyways! This is usually when we refresh our sidewalk chalk and bubble stash. Even though it will be a bit before it’s warm enough for the pool, I have a tradition to get Fitz a new swimsuit so we are ready to hit the pool when the time comes. Of course, I had so much fun picking out Coco’s first suit too. 🙂

Sidewalk Chalk and Bubbles: The perfect time to toss the old remnants from last year and get a fresh set.

Pete the Cat: Fitz loves Pete the Cat and this Easter story will be the perfect addition to his book collection.

Monster Trucks: You have to have a new toy in your Easter basket!

Pool time: Sunglasses: Just $6 and Fitz always loves a new pair. I always love grabbing swimwear from Janie and Jack. How cute are these flamingo swim trunks? Also, Fitz has been asking for goggles because he hates getting his eyes wet and he says these will help him.

Plush Bluey: Is anyone else’s kid obsessed with this show? It cracks me up too!

Sequence for Kids: Fitz is getting old enough to play games a bit more sophisticated than Chutes and Ladders (thank goodness!) and this will be fun for us to play with him too!

Nike Slides: His favorite shoes are too small for this season, so I know he will love a new pair. These are the easiest shoes for him to throw on and they are more comfortable to him than a flip-flop.

Coco is getting some new clothes in her basket. Baby girl needs some warm weather clothes! I’m a sucker for all things rompers and I found the cutest at Carter’s recently and most are just $10. I also got her a swimsuit from Janie and Jack and can’t wait to hit the pool with her.

I also grabbed Coco some new books and toys. I’m mostly excited that she’s getting her very first baby doll! When I was a little girl, getting new dolls was my very favorite gift.

What kind of things are you putting in your Easter baskets? I hope you found some inspiration today!
